GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X Motherboard

The GIGABYTE B550 GAMING X is a full-size ATX gaming motherboard designed for AMD Ryzen processors using the AM4 platform. It is based on the AMD B550 chipset and supports AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, Ryzen 5000 G-Series, Ryzen 4000 G-Series, Ryzen 3000 Series and Ryzen 3000 G-Series processors, subject to the applicable CPU support list and BIOS version. The motherboard features four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 128GB of system memory in dual-channel configuration. It supports high-speed DDR4 memory up to 4733 MHz through overclocking and supports Intel XMP memory profiles. For graphics and expansion, the B550 GAMING X provides a reinforced PCI Express x16 slot with PCIe 4.0 support when paired with compatible Ryzen processors. Additional PCIe expansion slots are available for add-in cards. Storage connectivity includes two M.2 connectors. The primary M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0 x4/x2 and SATA modes with compatible CPUs, while the second M.2 slot supports PCIe 3.0 x4/x2 and SATA modes. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports are also provided, with RAID support. Networking is provided by a Realtek 8118 Gaming LAN controller with bandwidth management. The standard B550 GAMING X does not have integrated Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, making it different from wireless variants such as B550M GAMING X WIFI6. The board uses a 10+3 phase digital VRM design, enlarged heatsinks, Smart Fan 5, RGB Fusion 2.0 and Q-Flash Plus. It also provides HDMI and DVI-D display outputs when used with supported AMD processors with integrated graphics.
