Samsung 980 250GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD
The Samsung 980 250GB is a high-performance PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD designed for desktops, laptops, gaming systems and everyday high-speed computing. Using the M.2 2280 form factor and NVMe 1.4 interface, the drive delivers sequential read speeds of up to 3,500MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 3,000MB/s. The 980 is Samsung's first consumer DRAM-less SSD, using Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology to access system memory for efficient operation. Samsung's Intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 technology provides a larger buffer area to help maintain high write performance. The 250GB capacity is suitable for operating systems, applications and essential files while providing a major performance improvement over SATA SSDs and traditional hard drives. Samsung rates this capacity for 150TBW and provides a 5-year limited warranty.
